Crazy Internet Outage

Ok, so in a small article in the paper today they announced that the internet for the ENTIRE COUNTRY, YES the ENTIRE COUNTRY, will be shut down from 6pm to 10 am.

And the fact that this can happen is one of the reasons why this country needs more than one internet carrier/telephone company (which is partly run by the government) and more that one cell phone company (which is partly owned by the government). They at least are separate companies. But the monopoly cell phone company recently sued and won then lost then won again to prevent the landline company from selling phones.

And the fact that it isn't front page news shows how much Swaziland's people aren't on the internet yet.

And they don't know if it will just be home & businesses or cell phones also.

Anyway, I guess I will just read instead or maybe play a video game or maybe watch a movie on my tiny laptop. Cause even after a year there is still very little to do in the evening.
