So we are playing the #1 team.

Finally, the execs get the uniforms there early and ready and finally the team is all there pretty much on time. Although, I only have 2 real mid fielders and 6 defenders. Ironically, since Defense attandence has been a problem most of the season.

So I decide to play 433 and do a half time mid field rotation. I figure we might as well attack and since there is pretty much no palyer that can play 90 minutes very well. It made sense.

As the go goes on we miss and miss hit the crossbar, hit the post, the keeper make one great save. And just before the end of the half the defense makes a mistake.

Now for some reason the main midfielder that Iuse all of the time in the 433 in middle would not play in the middle and let a palyer who normally plays defense and is the same player who for 2 weeks in row boned the team with no boots. He isn't very good in that position and since we are palying the #1 it was amazing we didn't play worse. Anyway, I was mad that the mid fielder wouldn't play in the middle.

so he comes out at half time the new mid field comes in. This stratgy has worked before and we keep up the pressure but hte other team gets a really awesome goal. It comes from a cross that goes all the across the face of hte goal and is then headed back across the goal to an on coming player who heads the ball in the goal.

You can see the team is done, 10 minutes a kick inside are box is taking to quickly the ball hits the back of one own players and goes in the net. I think that stupid, careless play marked the end of our season as a functioning team. The whole team pretty played like crap, didn't play the positions I put them in and frankly just didn't seem to care. And the irony is that finally the team was ready to go before the game.

A loss that was a pretty bad beating.
