So here are the contents of Mom's package that arrived today.
A box of Rice Chex (Yummy)
Numerous GI Joe comics
Numerous Time Magazines
and a every inch of the rest of the space that was left in the box, including the space inside the Rice Chex box was filled with Chocolate. Twix, Snickers, Ghirardeli and reese's peanut butter.
JUST AWESOME.
By the way I really don't miss much of life in the US but these items were all requests that I very much miss. Especially the Rice Chex. The cereal selection sucks, there are about 5 versions of corn flakes and Cheerios and Rice Chrispy(neither did I like in US and don't here.) Frosted flakes which I like is available but not in my town. And the only I really enjoy is called Chocolate Clusters which is basically chocolate covered granola.
Swaziland grocery stores pretty much have most things American do they just don't have the selection. And my town seems to less options the two cities larger.

Are there any shops near work where you can get a bite to eat for breakfast [saving your cereal for the weekends]? A lot of times I would eat at the school canteen before going to my first class. They would also serve us a lunch or I'd stop for something on the way home. Their cooking was much better than mine!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know I don't eat breakfast ever really have unless I am up super earlier.
ReplyDeleteI have to be to work by 8:00 and usually roll out of bed at 7:15, I bathe at night, and on time usually.
And frankly Swazi foods sucks even at the resturants.
