Anti Crime Concert

So my office in coordination with the cities Anti Crime Police Unit, hosted a concert at the Town Council.

This was basically a bunch of different groups doing singing (although interesting the rappers using a microphone rap over the lyrics of the original rapper, so when the guy performing is off it sounds really funny), lots of dancing both traditional and that hip hop pop and lock kind.

One of the schools put on a short play and intermixed between acts was anticrime, HIV, don't drink, don't do drugs (only pot is available here in the country, nothing else) speeches.

The attendance was about 200 young people. It was very entertaining and other than some minor organizing yesterday and today. Most of it was handled by the Police. It is very cool to get to know the police on a working together kind of level a new experience for me (although I supposed I worked with them all the time on movie sets, but those were almost always old retired police officers, whose career was doing movie set security. So it doesn't fell the same.)
