So its Tee minus 2 days until the art classes begin.
Today, a non-holiday in Swaziland but the 4th in the US, I scored a great deal on the paint getting more for less & having it delivered from Matashpa (the most industrial town in Swaziland.) So it should arrive tomorrow. Plus, work on cleaning the building & fixing holes in the walls begins all in preparation for the Saturday beginning of the class which we have 13 of 15 registered students. So far they mostly seem like 15 to 18 I was hoping for some older ones, but they may show at the last minute.
So here is the picture of the Center as it currently looks right now. More to come.
Cleaning is the order of the day for the next two days so pay attention, I will be posting more pictures.

Happy 4th of July to you. Glad to see this project progressing. Do you know that name of the Volunteer who started the map? Hopefully someone (maybe in the PC office) can fill him in on the completion of it with a picture.
ReplyDeleteI do and she actually made a financial contribution to the previous Center. The beauty of Facebook. So is a member of the Swaziland Peace Corps FB group. And when I posted on it when raising funds last year, she contacted me telling the story. So I promised I would finish it before I left, which this weekend, I will be.
