Peace Corps Partnership Proposal (PCPP) with the Nhlangano Town Council (NTC)

First application draft submitted Feb, 2011
Approved & Funding Begins on PC website May 17th
IT WAS COMPLETELY FUNDED on Sept 8th.
Construction started on Oct 24th.
All exterior construction done by Dec 20th.
Grand Opening Jan 5th, 2012
Round 2 of the Funding arrives in early January.
Interior Only Construction Restarts Jan 16th.
Construction all done Feb 16th (minus a million tiny To Do's)
Project Officially Closed May 4th, 2012

Social Center Part 35 (The Cleaning Crew)

So what is left is cleaning to make the center so it can be open for business and school





Pictured here are the 2 pre-school teachers & the Center's Manager they now have the keys and the future of the center in their hands. My responsibility for the Ward 4 Social Center is now officially over.

There is one part left to this and that is when the get to actually start school. The Center has already attracted more than the normal amount of children for enrollment. (technically, the PC paperwork is left also.)

I cleaned the toilets which where still covered in paint & then went home. It was nice to walk away knowing that the building will have a good life.

    I think your mosaic fits in nicely. It looks like something a little kid would do, so very appropriate for that school kids area. Abstract color scheme.
