Ok, the parts now need subtitles!!
Well, up til now other than the Sat (Part 3) meeting with the coaches, SSCS is pretty much been internal but with the Media Launch yesterday the SSCS is official. There was actually an article in the paper announcing the media launch.
So all of the partners FA, MTN & PSI brought banners and put them next to the nice big AMICAALL one. The print media, Swazi TV were there to listen to the pitch of the event and explain it to the public.
WHICH MAKES IT OFFICIAL. IT PUBLIC.
The event went completely smooth and everyone was very pleased Sabelo & I got several public comments about our work. And we will see if the group photo makes the paper.
Well, its the Reed Dance holiday weekend. Plus, my 39th Birthday and the anniversary of arrive in Nhlangano one year ago. I am going to spend at my favorite place in Swaziland the one and only movie theater, eating good meals and having fun. Liz is joining me and making a chocolate cake. She is outstanding. To bad we are just friends. On Sunday, I am attending the Reed Dance where 80,000 maidens parade before the King in traditional African clothing (which is topless).
IT will be my last free weekend for awhile.
SSCS is now above and beyond just Sabelo & I and we have some great partners that are working hard.
It is really going to be a big success.

Hello!
ReplyDeleteYou have a very nice blog, and it is really cool to be able to read it. The stuff you do as a PCV is amazing, hope you are having a great time!
My name is Rajko and I am from Montenegro, small country in southeastern Europe. I was wondering if it's possible for you to help me with my project. I am trying to collect postcards from every country in the world, and I still miss Swaziland in my collection. So far, I've managed to collect postcards from almost 200 countries, and having postcard sent from Swaziland would make my day, and I would be forever grateful to you! Of course, I can send you back anything you would like to receive from my country, just let me know what. I also have my postcard blog, where I show my collection day by day, you are very welcome to visit it: http://mnepostcards.blogspot.com/
Thanks a lot for your help in advance! Here is my email: rajkogolovic@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Rajko
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, your sister
