Game#32 15-10-7 55 Points

9-8-9-10

And stupidity.

That pretty much sums up today's game. I am starting to be convinced that this team is pretty much uncoachable at least by me.

And this weekend we have two games and are only 2 points away from 4th place but currently in 6th place.

So as usual in the last half of the season we can't get players to the game. We start the game 9 players, the other team has 10. We are actually playing great scoring 2 nice goals in first half. Now I had been told that 2 players where going to be showing up late. And at half time I told they are close.

Basically for the first half we played a 4-4-0 and packed the middle of the field, which worked very well in shutting down the other team.

So it seemed like all hell broke loose in the 2nd half for some reason I didn't understand. My keeper started yelling at one of the defenders for making a mistake. And then my star forward with 19 goals starts screaming and cussing at the keeper and gets a Red Card. Unbelievable. We are now down to 8 men. I just can't believe the kind of bullshit that happens with this team. Lucky, one of the late players shows up just a few minutes later, so he is thrown right into the middle of the field. The team is yelling at each other and of course since it is siSwati I don't have a clue why. Anyway, the next late player shows up so we put him in. He is defender, so I move the midfielder who was playing defense up to midfield. Unfortunately, he arrives in the game and the ball hits him in the arm in the box, penalty kick. It goes we are still winning 2-1 but the team just lost.

I don't get it but they gave up. Then the keeper starts coming out of his box to get balls. and actually picks the ball outside the box, granted he was just barely over the line, but I have worked numerous times with him on this drill. Anyway, it is automatic yellow card, his third for the season, so not only do tomorrow I am missing my star forward next week but now I will be missing my keeper.

Just stupid is all it was.

Anyway, the other team gets another goal and we survive with a tie. This was the team that the game before I went back to the US was disaster also that ended up not finishing cause of light. And against this team in the 1st round we had 11 men against their 9 and couldn't win, they are ranked 15 out of 17.

Anyway, we started with 9 men, went down 8 men, then back up to 9 and finally ended with 10 men to draw and let the other team come from behind.

UNBELIEVABLE AND JUST STUPID.

I am seriously debating on not coaching this team next season. Cause it is always the coach that gets the blame. And not to be baby but what coach can handle this kind of crazyness.

  1. Well, you may just have to do something else. Not worth the frustration.
