Game #12 6-4-1 22 Points

Well it had to happen sooner or later and that would be a loss.
The final score 3-1.

And we are eliminated from the SwaziBank Cup by the loss. It was exciting to be close.

They scored 1st then we tied it up at half time, we went on the attack with the BTA, which has worked 3 times before.

But

This time we were playing a really good team, and even though I had most of players there the BTA didn’t work in terms of goals but we did get many chances including a head ball that bounced off the pole right to a player who shot it at the net and goalie made a great save. At that point we were 1-1, you could see the team deflate and they came right back at us and scored making it 2-1 then later just before the end they got another.

But basically the team was done after the head ball miss.

Our first loss against the 3rd place team and the team I consider the best in the league, since we have played all of them, the Black Terrors Attack known. The 3 factors for the loss the better team, tried out of playing shape (cause of the holidays ) players and the fact that we didn’t have our powerful forwards that we usually use in the BTA.

Anyway, we played 12 games (one doesn’t count in the records record of 6-4-1) and were undefeated. NOT BAD AT ALL.

We get a weekend off, got new players and 2 weeks to regroup and should come back strong. The leaders of the team are refocusing the old players and focusing the new ones on their own.
