Thanksgiving outside of the US

Thanksgiving meal at the Ambassabor's home. Tastes & looks just like any Thanksgiving meal I ever had. They had a chocolate Mouse that is now in top 5 all time desserts I ever at, also went swimming in the pool.

My question is how do countries know when to put up Christmas tress, and lights etc when their is no Thanksgiving?

Wore my LA Galaxy David Beckham t shirt. Also promoted the success of my team to the Ambassador.

  1. Glad you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving. As that is an American holiday it is not on a lot of other countries calendars. Since Christmas is more global (Dec 25th), countries can plan before that to put up their trees.
