Watching Lighting

Watched a lighting storm. It has been decades since I sat on a porch and did that. When I was a kid back in Oklahoma it was a normal thing to do.

First I haven't lived in a place with a porch nor a place that has lighting storms that are watchable.

The kind of lighting that goes horizontal across the sky and leave an after image in eyes from looking at it.

Bread slept on my lap through the thunder that sounded like a movie theater action movie and lasted 48 seconds (I counted)

  1. I love your description of the lightening, and little Bread on your lap.
