Reading List

So since I have been in country and the reading habit has come back in full force and I do read fast.

Here is my finished list:
4 Clive Cussler Dirk Pitt or Kurt Austin books. (Sahara, Flood Tide, Serpent & Black Wind) (And 75% through Treasure of Khan) (The puppy sleeps on my stomach or feet as I read.)
An Unsung Hero - Tom Crean Antarctic Survivor
Dark Star - Alan Furst
Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson
Andrew Carnagie biography
Stardust by Neil Gaiman
The Forever War by John Halderman

And excellent news from Mom, she won a collection of all of the Cussler books on Ebay, each book being like $2 a piece. So I will be swimming, pun intended Cussler Books. (by the way all of his books are ocean/water/boats/swimming/diving oriented) hence the pun.

I very much enjoyed Forever War, Red Mars slow and boring but very interesting, Dark Star was a slug fest to finish, not much a fan of mystery, the biographies were great to learn about people and how they do things. Tom Crean was on the Ernest Shackleton trip and one of the 3 that made it to civilization to save all of the men of expedition. If you don't know the story of Shackleton and the Endurance look it up it is a story that is very true and completely unbelievable and amazing.
