Soccer meeting

Went to the regional Sisweline soccer meeting today, most of the teams had representatives and many of the coaches were their also. Meet all of the execs that run the league. Most of meeting in siSwati (but translated in my ear by my counterpart)

When the accountant handed out the budget for the teams to pay their dues, which included amount the audience would be paying. A major error was found that affected the payment amount.

So then it became accounting by committee as the error was corrected in the middle of the meeting, the accountant's face was priceless to see when the error was found. I laughed to myself, out loud would have been rude. It was very funny.

And it appears that I will be the official coach, paperwork will be finalized on Monday.

It is funny how a couple of well run practices turns the opinions of the players, the execs have been hearing nothing but good things about the practices from the players.

I am quite sure that they now believe that I actually really really do know what I am doing when I train them.

Now just have to actually get a win out of the team.
