Today is the day.

Welcome to my Swaziland / Peace Corps Adventure Blog

So after nearly a year of waiting, lots of thinking about leaving, lots of questions and tons of wrapping up life, the day has come to depart America to live outside its borders for the first time in my life. I don't know quite what I have got myself into yet. But I do know that I am excited and ready to go. I will miss my family terribly but I know they couldn't be more proud of me. So I go out into the world to find a new future for myself with tons of support of friends and family.

I know that my first couple of months I will have limited internet. So I doubt there will be a lot of individual posts but I will keep track of my routine and when I do post here at this site it will inform you all of my new life by searching through the different days post. Most likely I will send out an email and Facebook posting to come here or you can also save this in your favorites.

I am off to go help a couple of people in this large world of ours.

  1. Josh, what project have you committed to? What part of the world are you serving in? As a former VISTA/Americorps volunteer, I know that this experience will change you for the better. Congrats! Best of luck to you.

  2. Hey, m'boy, great looking blog ... love the wing ... up, up and away ... see ya' here often.

    Love, Dad ...

  3. Hi Josh,
I'm very proud of what you are doing. I look forward to hearing from you in the future. I am already gathering books for your return :-)
